Santa Ynez is best know for its rolling vineyards and laid back, rustic charm

The valley has dozens of vineyards and wineries. Here are a few of our favorites

ROBLAR

Roblar’s centrally located estate includes a majestic 5000 sq. ft. tasting room, beautiful vineyards, and state of the art winery facility. They produce a wide variety of wines including Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Sangiovese, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.

SUNSTONE

Sunstone will transport you to the Provencal French countryside. Sunstone Winery is an organic vineyard and winery styled in a Provencal French courtyards, stone barrel-aging caves, or picnic grounds.

DEMETRIA

Tucked off Foxen Canyon Road, a bit further down from our wedding venue, is Demetria, a biodynamically farmed vineyard that grows Rhone varietals and Burgundy-style wines. The tasting patio sits atop the valley and offers spectacular views.

Some more of our favorite things

Sky’s The Limit Ballooning Adventures has been safely and professionally giving high-quality hot air balloon rides since 1994. We pride ourselves on being a family owned and family operated business. So, we have the highest level of customer service. The joy of a great hot air ballooning experience is at the heart of what we do. We want all our customers to enjoy their time in the sky as much as we enjoy taking you up there.

  • Horse Back Riding

Since 2009, Vino Vaqueros Horseback Riding has been the Santa Barbara Wine Country’s original private horseback riding experience. Each private, 75-90 minute guided ride takes you through the most breathtaking scenery the Santa Ynez Valley has to offer.

  • The Maverick

Taverns have flourished along Santa Ynez’s Sagunto Street since 1906. Sixty years ago, four busy bars entertained the locals and visitors alike. These establishments were named Last Chance, the Bum Steer, Parker’s and the Maverick Saloon. While three of the four original taverns have since disappeared into history, the legendary Maverick Saloon is still going strong and continues to be a staple in the Santa Ynez valley.
